Fastest Cars in GTA 6: Top Speed Rankings (Demo Build)

Demo-build top speed rankings for every fast car visible in current GTA 6 trailer footage, with methodology, sources, inline imagery and per-class breakdowns.

Hurtigt overblik — Rockstar has not published any official top speed figures for GTA 6. Every number you see below is an editorial estimate, triangulated from trailer footage, established GTA V analogues, and the real-life car each vehicle is modelled on. Treat the rankings as a working hypothesis: they will be rewritten against verified telemetry the moment the retail build ships on November 19, 2026.

How we rank "fastest" before launch

There is no public Rockstar data file and no in-game speedometer the public can access. Fastest in this guide means the speed a stock vehicle appears to reach in publicly released trailer and gameplay footage, cross-referenced against:

Every figure below is tagged Confirmed, Unconfirmed (estimate), or Seen in footage so you can judge how much to trust it.

Stock-car estimates. Tuning shops are expected to add 10–20% top end, mirroring GTA V's Los Santos Customs ceiling.

1. Pegassi Infernus — the demo-build king

Pegassi Infernus on Vice City beachfront, GTA 6 demo footage
Wedge silhouette, scissor doors, the most aggressive top end in any visible footage.

The Infernus has been a Rockstar staple since the PS2 era — Lamborghini Countach in profile, Diablo in its later iterations. The GTA 6 model looks visually identical to a late-Diablo silhouette with modernised lights.

  • Estimated top speed: ~175 mph (282 km/h) — Unconfirmed
  • 0–60: ~3.0 s — Estimate
  • Drivetrain: RWD, consistent with the inspiration
  • Best use: beachfront and causeway runs — rewards straight-line stability over corner exits

Why we rank it #1: the Infernus is the only car in publicly released footage that visibly out-paces every other Super-class vehicle on the same stretch of highway between Vice City and the Leonida coastline.

2. Pegassi Zorrusso — the new hybrid hypercar

Drawn from the Lamborghini Sián and Revuelto. The only fully hybrid super in current footage, with a distinctive light bar across the rear deck.

  • Estimated top speed: ~170 mph — Seen in footage
  • Standout: instantaneous low-end torque — expect best-in-class 0–60
  • Tuning ceiling: likely the highest in the game once tuner shops open

3. Pegassi Tezeract — the concept-car wildcard

Inspired by the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio concept, the Tezeract is fully electric in Rockstar's lore. It topped GTA V Online charts; the GTA 6 build appears to retain that ceiling.

Flat-floor electric layout — the most stable high-speed corner-carver in trailer footage.

4. Grotti Cheetah Classic — Testarossa nostalgia

The wedge-shaped, side-strake Ferrari Testarossa lives on in the Cheetah Classic. Slower in top end than the modern supers but sharper steering response in demo footage.

Iconic side strakes intact — Rockstar leans into '80s Vice City visual cues.

5. Invetero Coquette D10 — the mid-engine sports leader

D10 mirrors the [Chevrolet Corvette C8](https://www.chevrolet.com/performance/corvette) — Rockstar's first mid-engined Coquette.

Fastest Sports-class car in current footage and likely the value pick: significantly cheaper than any Super, only ~10% slower in a straight line.

6–10. The chase pack

Bravado Banshee

Bravado Banshee, Dodge Viper inspired sports car, GTA 6

Dodge Viper reborn. Brutal V10 sound design carried over. ~130 mph estimate.

Bravado Gauntlet

Bravado Gauntlet muscle car, Dodge Challenger SRT lineage, GTA 6

Best-in-class Muscle. Challenger SRT lineage: tail-happy, drag-strip-friendly, ~125 mph top end.

Vapid Dominator

Vapid Dominator, Ford Mustang inspired muscle car, GTA 6

Direct Mustang analogue. ~120 mph estimated. Faster variants (GTT, ASP) likely arrive post-launch.

Karin Kuruma

Karin Kuruma AWD sedan, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution inspired, GTA 6

AWD sedan that punches above its class. ~115 mph estimated. Real story is corner traction.

Declasse Tornado

Declasse Tornado, 1950s Bel Air inspired classic, GTA 6 Vice City

1950s Bel Air cruiser — slow by modern standards (~100 mph), but the fastest classic in footage.

Cars in footage with no benchmark yet

Treat absence as unknown, not slow:

  • Albany Buccaneer (classic muscle)
  • Albany Manana (lowrider)
  • Bravado Buffalo (muscle sedan)
  • Karin Everon (luxury SUV)
  • Vapid Stanier LSPD (police interceptor)

Updated the moment Rockstar releases either a stats page or a clean comparison shot.

Methodology

1. Frame-isolate the vehicle in the highest-res trailer cut available (Rockstar's media site). 2. Identify a known map distance in the shot — landmark-to-landmark. 3. Count frames between two fixed points at 60 fps and convert to mph. 4. Cross-check with the real-world inspiration's published top speed; flag ±20% outliers. 5. **Promote to *Confirmed*** only when Rockstar publishes the figure or the retail build's performance UI confirms it.

Same methodology used by GTABase and the GTA Wiki; we cite them throughout but compute our own numbers.

What changes at launch

  • Super class will dominate the top 10 — final roster likely 15+ Supers, several not yet in any trailer.
  • Sleeper sedans/SUVs to crack the top 20 thanks to AWD and DLC variants.
  • Tuned top speeds will add 10–20% over stock once tuner shops open.
  • An online-only hypercar tier to launch a few weeks post-release, as in every GTA Online expansion.

FAQ

What is the fastest car in GTA 6 right now?

Based on currently visible demo-build footage, the Pegassi Infernus is the fastest stock vehicle, with an unconfirmed top speed of approximately 175 mph. No Rockstar-official number exists yet.

Is this list final?

No. Every figure is an unconfirmed estimate, replaced with verified telemetry once the retail build ships.

Will the Pegassi Tezeract come back as the fastest?

It topped GTA V's charts but in current GTA 6 footage ranks behind the Infernus and Zorrusso. Tuner upgrades could change that.

How does performance class affect top speed?

Super class will almost certainly contain the top 10 at launch. Sports follows, then Muscle/Sedan, with Classics trailing.
