Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data GTA Atlas (the "site", "we", "us") collects when you visit gta-atlas.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. The site is operated from Denmark; we process data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is the data controller

The data controller for this site is the operator of GTA Atlas. For any privacy enquiry, data access or deletion request, contact loui@lawgmedia.com.

2. What we collect

  • Analytics data — pages you view, approximate location (country/region), browser type, device type, and referring site. We use this to understand traffic and improve the site. See "Cookies & analytics" below.
  • Newsletter signups — if you submit your email address to the newsletter, we store your email and the source page so we can send GTA Atlas updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Contact form submissions — when you write via /contact, we store your name, email, subject, message, and the time of submission so we can reply.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider logs IP addresses and request metadata for short periods for security and abuse prevention.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

3. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Newsletter signup & contact replies — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • Analytics & abuse prevention — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in running and securing the site.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data on behalf of Google LLC, which may transfer data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can refuse or revoke cookie consent at any time via our Cookies page, or by using a browser-level "Do Not Track" / cookie-blocking extension.

5. Subprocessors

Personal data may be processed by the following service providers acting on our instructions:

  • Lovable Cloud / Supabase — database, authentication, and form submission storage (EU region).
  • Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS, and edge runtime.
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics) — anonymised traffic analytics.

6. How long we keep data

  • Contact form messages — up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Newsletter emails — until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics — retained for the default period set by Google Analytics (currently up to 14 months).
  • Server access logs — typically up to 30 days at the hosting layer.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to the data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data, or have it deleted.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter) at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Denmark this is Datatilsynet.

To exercise any of these rights, email loui@lawgmedia.com.

8. Children

GTA Atlas is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
